Texas Parent to Parent
Connects and supports parents and caregivers of children and young adults with disabilities. Its Pathways to Adulthood program helps families prepare for the transition into adult life.

Transition, Education, and Employment Support
Texas Workforce Commission — Vocational Rehabilitation Services
Provides eligible students and adults with disabilities with employment preparation, vocational counseling, training, workplace support, and assistance finding and maintaining employment. Transition services may begin while a student is still in school.

Local School District Transition Services
If your teen receives special-education services, contact the school’s special-education department or transition specialist. Families in Celina, Prosper, Frisco, McKinney, and surrounding districts can ask about transition assessments, employment preparation, community-based instruction, and 18+ programming.
Mental Health and Crisis Support
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
Free and confidential support is available 24 hours a day for anyone experiencing emotional distress, a mental-health crisis, or thoughts of suicide. Call or text 988.
LifePath Systems Crisis Services
Provides local behavioral-health crisis support for residents of Collin County.
