our
mission
Empowering Independence Through Connection, Confidence, and Support
Our mission is to empower neurodivergent teens and young adults with the tools, confidence, and support needed to navigate adulthood with clarity, resilience, and self-trust.
We provide coaching, therapy, social development opportunities, parent support, and community resources designed to bridge the gap between academic success and real-world independence.
Today, our team supports young adults and families through coaching, therapy, social skills development, transition planning, workshops, and community programming—all designed to help people feel more capable, connected, and supported.

OUR
STORY
Hi, I'm Nicole Rolon-Caro
Founder of Emerging Adulthood Consulting

For more than a decade, I worked in special education supporting students with Autism, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and learning differences.
Throughout those years, I noticed something important.
Many young adults were leaving school academically supported but still feeling overwhelmed by the realities of adulthood.
They weren't struggling because they lacked intelligence.
They were struggling because they lacked opportunities to safely practice independence, build confidence, and learn the real-life skills needed to navigate work, relationships, routines, and everyday responsibilities.
At the same time, I watched parents carry the emotional weight of trying to support their child while feeling uncertain about what came next.
I realized there was a gap between school support, therapy, and everyday adulthood.
Emerging Adulthood Consulting was created to fill that gap.

OUR
INSPIRATION
Legacy in Progress
The dragonfly represents transformation, resilience, growth, and hope.
Our work is deeply inspired by the legacy of Nicole's father, whose guiding question was:
"What am I doing today to make a better tomorrow?"
That question became the foundation of Emerging Adulthood Consulting.
Every coaching session, therapy appointment, workshop, and support group is rooted in helping young adults take meaningful steps toward a brighter future.
Because independence isn't built overnight.
It's built one step at a time.
